“Kristen Gorski” is a passionate and dedicated music educator with extensive experience in both private instruction and public school teaching. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Music Education at UNL as well, where she continues to refine her teaching philosophy and musicianship.
With over five years of experience in the public school system, Kristen has taught at McCall Elementary, Beach Park Middle School, and currently serves as a music teacher at Robert D. O'Neal Elementary School in Elgin, Illinois. Her teaching experience spans a variety of ages and skill levels, and she is deeply committed to nurturing each student’s growth through a balanced approach to technical skill, musical expression, and personal confidence.
In addition to her work in schools, Kristen has provided private instruction, where she developed personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of every student. She specializes in flute, piccolo, clarinet, and saxophone, and brings a holistic, student-centered approach to each lesson.
Kristen is honored to be part of the faculty at the “Arlington School of Music, a Div. Of The Arlington Institute of Music & Performance Skills” due to it’s sterling 95 yr international reputation in Music Education & Performance Skills in the Chicagoland area where she continues the rich legacy of excellence that the school is known for now at her new professional Studio Salon. She believes in creating a supportive and inspiring environment for her students, and it is her goal to help every learner reach their fullest musical potential while cultivating a lifelong love for music.
