Ludwig van Beethoven · Bagatelle No. 25 in A minor, WoO 59
PD

Scott’s involvement in music began when he was a child. His pianist father was his first influence, playing a wide variety of styles, from Chopin and Rachmaninoff to cocktail jazz standards and 1940s Albert Ammons and Pete Johnson-style boogie-woogie. Scott was taught the basic 12-bar blues progression at an early age. Beginning formal lessons at age seven, he progressed through the normal Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin material. It wasn’t long before he started playing current popular music (including the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Animals, CCR, and more) by ear.

Scott began playing professionally in bands during college, resulting in an extensive list of club, festival, and private engagements throughout the Midwest. These include Taste of Chicago, Navy Pier, Naperville’s Rib Fest and Last Fling, and Summerfest in Milwaukee. Scott has also performed at the Governor’s Mansion and at the State Capitol Building in Madison, WI.
